When living by faith gets messy, we have a choice. Are we going to bow out or lean in? A life that feels satisfying and significant is the result of faith applied courageously over time. . . and perhaps with a little help from a friend.
I’m Piet Van Waarde, I’m here to help you integrate your faith into every part of your life so that you can experience depth, alignment, and sustained strength wherever the journey takes you.
1. To understand, listen, and empathize; to advise and console; to stand with and pray for one in their hour of need.
“In that moment when life stops making sense and you feel far from God, a pastor comes alongside as hope and help with skin on.”
2. To help a person navigate life’s complexities and challenges without being cliche’, judgmental, flippant, or simplistic;
3. To understand, listen, and empathize; to advise and console; to stand with and pray for one in their hour of need.
“He pastored me through a confusing time when my faith was wavering and I needed direction and prayer.”
Saying “yes” to Jesus is exciting. But actually following Jesus? That journey can be challenging, complicated, and, at times, it might even feel pointless.
I believe these moments are the ones that make us. These are the moments where we get to choose what we’re about, what we believe in, and what we’ll fight for. In these moments, we can choose to either back out or dig deep. And we don’t have to do it alone.
I’m Piet. As someone who’s been doing the “faith thing” for decades, I’m all too familiar with the ups and downs of the journey. I’m not someone to tell you all the answers or give you a magic formula for faithful living. Instead, I’m here to walk with you and talk with you as we keep the faith together.
You don’t have to stay stuck. You can deepen your strength and keep saying “yes” to build a life that, while not easy, will be deeply satisfying and full of meaning.
